Oct 06, 2019

Hong Kong, Oct 06: Protests in Hong Kong against the ban on face masks turned violent on Sunday.
Some demonstrators threw gasoline bombs and bricks at police headquarters and vandalized subway stations. Police sprayed tear gas to disperse them.
Hong Kong media are reporting there were multiple injuries.
A large number of people rallied for a second consecutive day without police approval.
Protesters marched through the city in the rain, chanting, "The people of Hong Kong must resist!"
Most of them wore face masks, defying the ban that took effect on Saturday.
A 16-year-old protester said people need to demonstrate to protect their basic rights and to stop the Hong Kong government from becoming a tyranny.
